If you want something a little different, I love this one. Since it's usually a side with plenty of other stuff, I don't normally bother with the serrano.
I make the Paula Dean recipe, but no cheese. if you are going to add cheese, i say add some peppers to it.
a funny aside- It is required at holiday meals because one year Grandma tried to call it cornpone but accidentally called it Corn Porn, so no holiday is complete without Corn Porn. RIP Grandma.
