I assume most of us have something Carter's brand so I'm using that as the "standard" even though I know many say it runs "small" (though not for us). [Poll]
Happily, Allison is very true to the sizes at Carter's.
Sadly for her, her mommy put her in a pair of 6 month pants this morning and the poor kid is now wearing capris! I have to get those out of her drawer!

I hate when I do this! LOL! I swear, I take something out of his drawer or closet at least twice a week. If he keeps it up, he's going to be naked. LOL

Nice! I did that with NB pants on her once, it looked so stupid and we were out and about too so she just went pantsless.
Addy seems to move into a new size about a month after she's that age- 9M size will probably be at 10 months, maybe a little after.
The girls wear mostly 3-6 month clothes but 0-3 still fits as well. The pants actually fit much better in the 3M size although they're a little short. PJ's are 6M. They're both in 0-3 month outfits today.

My long, skinny baby is a tricky one to dress. She's so long that she needs 9 month sizes, even some 12 month. She's so lean that these sizes are a little bit big through the middle. I have a hard time keeping her pants up! I might have to have my mom take in a couple of pairs of pants until Aria chubs up a little.

This is kind of like us with the pants... she wears 6M for the length and it fits in the waist normally (she wears big, bulky CDs) but the other day I had a disposable on her and her pants were essentially completely falling off. She is SO skinny. IDK what we would do for pants if she didn't wear CDs.
Our LO is in 12 months in Carters - and the PJs are borderline too short for her now. Probably will have to move up a size soon. In Baby Gap clothes she is 12-18 months (just went there with a 40% off coupon - woohoo!).

I voted for 9m but if it is not long sleeve shirts or pants, she can still fit into 3m or 6m, she just has very long arms and legs. Also for this reason, she has to wear 12m pj's.

Skyler fits all of her 6 month clothes. I put her in the 9 month Carter's just because I bought them already and they are for the colder weather. Most of the pants are pretty big in the waist, but the legnth is okay. I bought a couple 12 month shirts and onesies and they fit the same as the 9 month. In fact when I held them next to eachother they were basically the same legnth. It seems like after 6 months most of the clothes get wider and not so much longer so I don't mind if the clothes are a little baggy if she gets more use out them.
I bought all of DD's fall and winter stuff as 12 months so that is what she is wearing. Everything is really big though. She has a couple 9 month fall things that she wears still that fit perfectly.

This is us exactly--I just had to buy two pairs of pants from Old Navy in the 12-18 month size for length! But the waist is so big that I resorted to putting a cloth diaper cover over her disposable (we had two from when she was soaking through her disposables at night). The combo of a diaper plus diaper cover keeps the pants up--but makes her look a little funny. Oh well--her legs have to stop growing so fast at some point, right? Then again, I am 6' tall, so who knows!
My big guy is in 18 months (and has been for the past 2 months). I really like Carter's stuff, but it's hard to find as much in 18 month sizes in the department stores (especially onesies). Their little layette sets stop at 12 months.
