    I like both Micah and Louis.

    I don't like the way they bleed into one another to form Michael Louis.

    Hmm...another alternative would be Micah Anthony.

    I hate the name Micah.  I don't know why.  I just hate the way it sounds.  What about Anthony Louis?

    i like it. Yes, if you say it quickly, it could sound like michael louis. However, i still think it is a wonderful name!

    This. I love both names, and he won't be called by both names very often, so unless it really bothers you for some reason, I don't think the "Michael Louis" issue is a big deal.

    This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! 
    DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome.
    131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
    We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

    I love Micah. Louis is nms, but for a middle name anything goes! Micah Anthony is better considering the L from Louis forming the Michael sound.
