How much do you spend on DC for x-mas???

I don't normally pay attention, but this year we are on a budget.  How much do you spend on your DC?

I don't really look at the price either.  I do know that one year I had a $500 toysrus gift card from DH's job that we used to do the shopping.....I had over $200 left over after I finished shopping for the 2 boys, my 3 neices, 1 nephew, and 2 godchildren.

The last 2 yrs, we've spent less than $100 on DS. He was 7 weeks and 1 yr old, so he didn't know any different! LOL This year it'll be around $150 or so and that's because we bought him an $80 train table. I don't know how old your DC is, but when they're young they're not interested in how much you spend and could care less if all they get is a few small things. They just like the fact that they got new toys!

I always spend about $200-250.  Then...my DH always gets them a gift just from him and he usually spends about $150 or so.

This year it'll be about $300 BUT that's because we're buying her a play kitchen that should last several years. Normally I'd probably spend about $100-$150.

In the neighborhood of $100-$200, I'm guessing?  She doesn't really need much, so we get her some books, clothes, and a couple of toys we think she'd really like, and then we always get her an ornament that represents the past year (we're thinking a puppy or Dora this year) and new jammies.

We overdid it: Loving Family Dollhouse and some rooms/pieces was about 175; Madagascar DVD and Sleeping Beaty DVD=40; Lego's Circus Set was 50 but I had a gc through Pampers so it was free!; Matching game was 10; MoonSand was 10 on clearance; 2 extra sets for MoonSand (beach theme and ice cream) were 30; Holiday Barbie was 45; Puzzle 10; Bath and Body works and mitt were 20; bodywash from salon was 10; 3 ColorWonders were 20; Dora and Diego PlayDoh set was 15; battery operated toothbrush and kid friendly toothpaste 10; christmas pj's 20 so about 500 total when all is said and done.  The dollhouse and pieces were a lot and we didn't even buy her all the rooms (grandparents and aunts are also getting her rooms).  You don't even realize how much you are spending because we will pick up one or two things a week and put them away and forget about them and go out and buy more and before you know it you spend a boatload of money!
