Due today and still no name!

We've hardly discussed names this time around and time is quickly (hopefully!) drawing to a close. To make matters worse, we're team green and need to be discussing boy AND girl names! We went with Emma Mei for DD, choosing to overlook the popularity of Emma, and I think part of my block this time is not knowing that we can come up with a name we like as much again. Mei also has special meaning to us as it is Chinese for "beautiful", DH lived in China for a chunk of our relationship prior to being married so yeah, we think that's cool. This time though, we've got nothing and I'm looking for suggestions. I'm a bit out of the ordinary in that I'm not crazy about naming after someone which is why both Thomas and William are out though DH and I both like them (both names are family members that have rubbed me the wrong way). DH also says we can't have another "E" but there are so many E names I like (Elizabeth, Eli, Ezra, Ethan)! So...based on my list, what do you think?

Girl - Josephine, Julia, Grace, Maggie, Noelle, Alexandra, Rebekah, Caroline, Jenna, Allie

Boy - Aaron, Jacob, Jonah, Daniel

You have great names here! My faves are Josephine and Noelle for girls, and Aaron and Daniel for boys. You can't go wrong with any of them. I see nothing wrong with another E name, Emma and Elizabeth would be a cute sibset. Plus Elizabeth has lots of nicknames that don't start with E.

My favorites from your list are Maggie, Noelle, Allie and Jonah. 

Of those, Maggie would be my first choice.  

ETA: how did I miss that Josephine was on your list. I change my mind. Josephine is my favorite.

Boy: Jacob, Daniel

Of your girl list, I really like Caroline and Maggie (as a nn for Margaret or Magdalena).  For the boys, I like Jonah and Daniel.

I tried looking on Behind the Name's Chinese name list to come up with some ideas for mns (if you wanted to continue the theme) and liked:

Zhi (will, purpose, wisdom, knowledge)
Huan (happy, joyous)
Jia (good, fine, home, family)
Ju (chrysanthemum)
Li (lots of different meanings)
Ru (scholar)

So...maybe Caroline Zhi or Caroline Huan?  Jonah Li or Jonah Ru?

I probably wouldn't use Jenna because it's kind of rhymey with Emma.

My top picks would be Julia and Jonah.

Some choices with what you've got:

Alexandra Noelle, Julia Grace, Noelle Grace, Grace Alexandra

Any of the boy first names would sound good with Aaron as a middle name, Daniel Aaron, Jacob Aaron, Jonah Aaron.

Hello fellow June mama ;-)  I really love your list!  My favorites are Julia, Grace, Noelle and I love, love, love Caroline.  What about Caroline Grace or Julia Noelle?

Love all your boys but I would vote Jacob Daniel.
