Longchamp help please! EDITED - Baggallini???

I'm thinking I want a tote bag that zips and is easily stored for travel, etc.  What size should I get?  Do you have one that you like/love/hate?  Reviews needed!  I want it for our Christmas vacation so I have an easier tote that zips and can double as a diaper bag and purse for our activities when I don't want to wear my JuJuBe diaper bag.  

I'd also like it for work purposes, maybe to throw in my laptop and some file folders - but I have legal size not letter size so that might change things.  I like larger purses anyway, but I don't want to look like one of the Olsen twins carrying a suitcase either!  Any PIPs of you with yours so I can get an idea on size would be great, I'm googling but the large and the medium I guess look so similar I'm not sure what I"m looking at.  Thanks!

Also, what color do you have or would you get?  I'm having a hard time narrowing it down!

Oh wait I just found Baggallini bags - and they are a fraction of the price of Longchamp - any reviews on that?

I have a bunch in a few different colors.

To use as a purse, I much prefer the medium. As a tote, the large works well. It's a bottomless pit!

Make sure to get one with straps long enough to go over your shoulder. 

I'd go with a dark color, as the light colored ones can get a little dirty looking on the bottom. I LOVE my red bag (which is a darker tone), but black is very neutral and goes with everything. I'd probably go with black in the Le Pliage

 

ETA: Nope no experience with Baggalini, but clearly I just googled!

I'm thinking I will go with the Baggallini Expandable Tote Bag.  I love the look of Longchamp, but hard to justify the price for me right now.  And the Baggallini is 50 bucks!
