so disappointed

We were supposed do an iui this month but hurricane sandy totally screwed that up for us!!! I never even made it to my scan so I don't even know how many follies I had this month. I got a positive opk last Friday and we just BD'd as much as we could which was difficult because we still have no power and have been staying with my parents sharing a bed with my 3 year old! These past two weeks have been just chaos!! now with the snow storm we had yesterday who knows when we will get power back!!! Just needed to vent!

    So sorry.  It sucks to be ready to go and get delayed.  I got delayed almost 2 months due to a uterine polyp  during IVF #1.  Had already taken BCPs and found out the day of my baseline u/s.
    10/10: Married; 5/11: Dx: Blocked Fallopian Tube; 7/11: D&C/Hysteroscopy to remove polyp
    IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12
    IVF #2: 11/12-12/12: ER: 20R, 20M, 16F, 4 Frosties; 5dt: 3 blasts, DS born 8/9/13

    I also was supposed to have an IUI this past cycle, it got cancelled as I was on the table, stripped down and wearing the gown, due to a virus showing up in my bloodwork (that they should have checked on prior to me even coming in).  it is very disappointing but hopefully you get a BFP anyway! :)

    I'm so sorry! I swear, whenever there is a storm anywhere I think of all the women who are going to mess up their cycles or procedures and feel terrible. I hope this results in a positive for you anyway. Also, hope the power comes on soon. My friend just got hers a few hours ago, finally. Take care!

    Thanks for the support girls! We finally have power back and have moved back into our home. My beta is Saturday. I'm trying to stay positive!
