For the last two years my tree has been light blue, dark blue and white.  I want all new decorations this year, but I'm not sure what color scheme I will be using yet.

No, but maybe next year.  Not blow ups per se, but maybe the little snowmen lights going up the driveway.

I'm so excited to see Skyler's face when she sees the Christmas tree all lit up for the first time.  She gets so excited about new colorful things.

All of the above.  MIL sent a crap ton of old ornaments when DH and I got married so we have all his old ones - mostly made by his grandmother - but I have bought a bunch during clearance sales over the years.

Not yet...

I always had fake trees growing up, DH had real.  We alternate now every year but with Allison we are going with fake until she stops putting every little thing in her mouth!

Huh???  Traditional green for us I guess...

Yes, we hang them from the stair railing...everyone has one - even the cats and dog!

Will you put up lights outside?

Every year!  Colored strings with random little twinkles.  So festive!

NO!  I hate these things...I think they are so ugly and when they aren't "on" they just lay in your yard and look like garbage.

Anything else you want to add?

I love decorating and wish I had a bigger house so I could go all out inside but we just don't have the space to store it all!  DH would keep the Christmas stuff up all year if he could...I make him take it down in the middle of January.

Oh!  And we only do colored lights...they are just so much fun!  When I get my own tree (see above!) I will do clear lights on that one but for the family tree we always use colored lights...even outside is always colored.

What is your Christmas Decoration theme?  Mostly red, green and gold

Will your decorations be homemade, store bought, heirlooms? all of the bove! We have some items from when DH was a baby, I also have a manger/nativity scene that my dad built, and two years ago before my grandpa passed away we made a christmas village together (he built it from wood, and I painted it). I have plenty of new store-bought stuff though!

Does LO have a special ornament? Not yet, but he will soon.

Will you put up stockings? Of course! We usually wrap every item in there as well to prolong the festivities

Will you put up lights outside? We don't have to many but maybe we will expand a little bit this year. It is hard with Florida style houses with block construction.

Will you have blow up characters on your lawn? Nah, but I don't mind looking at others' lawn decorations.

Anything else you want to add? I can't wait to decorate for Christmas and make our Christmas cards. Christmas is a great excuse for me to do a ton of crafts and baking

Does LO have a special ornament? Logan has a few, I haven't gotten Kellen's "first Christmas" one yet, but I will.

Real or Artificial Tree? Always real. DH and Logan cut it down together    It's very cute to watch.

Will you put up stockings? Yes, we have the embroidered ones from pottery barn.  They are pretty reasonable.

Anything else you want to add? My house is completely transformed at Christmas.  I love everything about the holiday and Logan is getting more and more excited about it with me every year.  I can't wait to see Kellen's face when we light up the tree!

This is a flocked Christmas tree.  Maybe we only have these in the South since we don't get snow.  I couldn't edit the original post for some reason.

Does LO have a special ornament? Yep, we bought a Lovebugs ornament last year, and got one Baby's 1st Christmas ornament so far.

Does LO have a special ornament? My step mom is going to buy the babies first Christmas ornament from hallmark for us, and all I have so far are a couple mickey and Minnie mouse snowglobe ones. I plan on buying more soon.

For the tree - most years it was blue and gold (to go with our love of everything Pitt) but a strand of blue went out last year - so we switched to red/green

For the outside - we do multi colored lights

a mix of store bought and heirlooms (my mom collected an ornament a year for us and gave us the collection when we moved out)

Artificial - DH has an epi pen for grass - he can't handle nature lol! So we will never have a real tree.

Green - I don't even bother with tinsel. It drove me nuts growing up and I'm not about to start now, with Hayley scootin around everywhere

This year, Hayley has a pink "baby's 1st christmas" one that I'll hang and use. Otherwise, DH and I have tiny decorative ones with our names on them from college that we'll still use as decoration. Next year will be all matching stockings.

absolutely! It's DH's favorite thing to do. I'm not even allowed to help (fine by me!)

We live in a condo style apartment so no. Some of our neighbors DO have them though! But it's not in the budget. I might put a mini tree out on our patio table though (we have a few in storage).

DH has tonsss of stuff passed down to him (he's an only child), and since Christmas is my favorite holiday, I have tons of favorite and special ornaments and decorations from my childhood that my mom has given to me since I've moved out. I also am into crafts, so I've made some things in the past and have plans to make quite a few things this year. And, I basically buy anything that remotely resembles Christmas at the stores, so we have our fair share of store bought as well.

Does LO have a special ornament? She got a Baby's First Christmas ornament last year from MIL and from a family friend, but I also want to pick out a special one this year as well.

Real or Artificial Tree? Artificial. I'd love to have a real one sometime.

Will you put up stockings? Yes! Of course. Last year was our first Christmas in our new and first home. And we have a fireplace. So, the stockings get hung above the fireplace and I seriously love it. I didn't have a fireplace in my home growing up. Just seems so Christmas-y and perfect!

Will you put up lights outside? Yes! We tried to be the most obnoxious house on the block last year, but failed. It was our first year, though. I've stocked up throughout this year and my Grandma gave me a bunch of outdoor decorations. So, I'm prepared to bring it this year.

Will you have blow up characters on your lawn? I don't think we have any of those yet, but I am not opposed.
