Ok, I'm bored out of my mind. I'm sick and laying in bed while MIL entertains Asher. We don't even have a TV in our bedroom so I am starting to get really bored.

I love the name Asher, it is not common, how did you decide on it?

Your MIL sounds nice to come over to watch Asher while you are sick, do you get along well with her? Is she different than before you were married? Different than before having her grandchild?

I love the name Asher, it is not common, how did you decide on it? It took us forever to decide on a boy name. I loved Asher from the start. His name means happy/blessing which I really liked. We also wanted a Biblical name but not a common Biblical name. Asher is one of Jacob's sons in the book of Genesis. We had a few other names in mind that I didn't love but decided when he was born. After seeing him, the name just fit. I'm so glad we picked it.

We mostly get along. While DH and I were dating, they lived in another state. After we got married, they moved a few miles down the street from us. They live here (WI) part-time, in MN part-time by my SIL and then in FL for the winter. So they aren't here all the time, which helps our relationship. She helps with Asher a lot. We don't always agree on things but we're respectful to each other. I would say we have a pretty good relationship.

Oh jeez. These are names I love:

Asher (obviously), Declan, Atticus, Elizabeth, Grace, Maggie, Elias, Grayson, Madeline, Harper, Addison, Jack, Carson, Cameron, Owen, Kate, Parker, Abigail, Noah.

No way in hell we are having that many kids!

The selfish side of me says college when I had little responsibility and could do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I had a good time.

The momma part of me says when Asher was a newborn. I miss my sweet tiny baby that would spend all day cuddling with me!

What do you do for work? I work in Compliance for a large financial institution. Before having Asher, I worked a ton and it was really stressful. Now I only go in 2 days a week and it's less stressful. I like it, most of the time.

What do you do for fun? I like to read, do crafty stuff, hang out with our families, play cards with DH, shop, organize my house.

Have you every had surgery? Nope. The only time I've been in the hospital was to give birth.

How do you like your coffee? Non-existent. I don't drink coffee!

Favorite tv show? I don't watch much TV but I do DVR all of the Real Housewives shows on Bravo! They are so bad, but I love them!

Favorite type of movie? Romantic Comedy for sure 

Favorite restaurant? There is a bar and grill a few blocks from our house that we go to a lot. They food is good and cheap.

What do you do for fun outside of your home with Asher? We go to Target a lot! Hahaha. It's usually SAHM central during the week. We used to go for walks but now it's so cold out. We go to the library, run errands, hang out with some of my friends that also SAH.

 What do you and your hubby do for a date night? Normally dinner. Sometimes we go bowling. During the summer we went to some Brewer games and on a boat cruise downtown. We have a movie theater gift card that we need to use but I keep forgetting!
