Joining the July Mommas. Yay Baby!

Hi!

We found out a week ago that we're expecting! I am having a really hard time waiting out this 1st trimester before making the public announcement to Family, Friends and Social Media.

It hasn't hit me yet. We hadn't even officially started trying yet ... actually we had *just* decided we would start in Jan, but surprise! Looks like We're expecting an Independence Day Baby.

What has been the biggest struggle for you other July Mommas out there?

Congrats! My struggle was "trying" to wait to tell people and that didnt happen. As far as social media they dont have a clue. Mainly immediate family and closest friends know..we told DS yesterday. He is so excited to be a big brother.

Biggest struggle so far: mentally preparing myself for a daily injection. They freaking suck!

 I've told my closet friends, but my BF hasn't told anyone yet! I don't know how since he is the one who has an issue not blabbing

 I suspect more people will be suspicious at upcoming social events when I am without a drink in hand!

What kind of injections? I take a weekly injection for my arthritis (which Doc has approved me to continue) but I am not aware of any pregnancy related injections! ... I'm quite a noob when it comes to these things! I was hoping to be more prepared!

Congrats!!  I have a really hard time keeping secrets so I'm guessing we will be telling everyone sooner rather than later!

I also have a hard time keeping secrets, and we didn't keep it long last time even though we intended to. This time around I've realized that there's something special about having that secret just between you and your SO, and there's only so many weeks you can take of having people comment on your pregnancy, your size, your acne/ not acne, your emotions, etc. People also love to give you pregnancy and delivery advice/ horror stories and parenting advice. Not to mention touch your belly.  I'd rather just enjoy my pregnancy with my family and DH for as long as possible.

Congrats! I've had a hard time not telling people so I have spaced out telling people in our immediate families so it seems like im always telling people.
