2-bedroom apartment

SO...none of my in-laws have power after hurricane Sandy, and they're all staying with us in our apartment... now we have 4 extra adults, plus 2 kids under six. Luckily, they're tiring out the dog!

We weren't sure when we were going to tell people, but we wound up telling everyone this weekend, because otherwise it was going to be impossible to explain my napping, not drinking wine, and eating jolly ranchers every 2 hours ;-)

It's OK so far, but they were told they wouldn't have power until November 11th!!! I'm hoping it's not quite that long, or we're all going to drive each other nuts!

Oh gosh, that's a lot of people for a small space. I can't imagine it really taking that long.Maybe they're just underestimating to keep people off their backs for a bit.

I'm in NJ too and I'm really sorry you're having to go through this.  We just got power back last night.  Do you think if you dropped some subtle hints for them to maybe take some apart, they'd get the hint?

Wow that's a lot of people. I hope you get you electricity back soon, and your apartment to yourself.
