Traveling and Medela Bags

Going out of town for work without my DS tomorrow. Bought the Medela bags to pump into so I could leave all his bottles at home. Do they fit into the cooler well? What kind of ice pack have you used given that the one it came with is meant for bottles? Thanks.

I fit four FULL medela bags plus four full bottles in the cooler with no issues. Just cram them in and lay them on top of the bottles too. I don't pump straight into the bags because it drives me nuts not to know exactly how much is in there. When ds2 was in the NICU, I fit 8 or 10 bags in there along with 2 ice packs. Had to take milk in from home, so didn't need bottles.
