Anyone seen Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa?

DH wants to take DD to see Madagascar 2, but we don't know anything about what is appropriate for a 2.5 year old when it comes to theater movies.  She has only been to science IMAX movies before like Whales, Grand Canyon, ect.  She loves those. 

Is the content of Madagascar too much for a 2 year old?  It is rated PG.

We are taking dd who is 27 months old to see it one night this week.  It is a kids movie with lots of animal characters in it so I think it would be appropriate.  This will be her 1st real movie in the theaters but she sits and watches Shrek 1 and 2 at home and other Disney movies all the time.
