Nervous about telling the family!

I'm 21 and just got engaged on tuesday...then thursday...found out that i'm pregnant as well...oops! I have my first appointment on tuesday...We've told his mom and a few of our closest friends, but i'm extremly nervous about telling my family- especially my uncle he's kind of judgemental and all he's going to see is "another girl that got knocked up by some guy" Instead of an adult in a healthy and stable relationship....and he has a thing for influencing the rest of my family...i'm not sure what i'm most nervous about- that he's going to ruin a happy time in my life or that i might lose my family....

I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice for breaking the pregnancy news to the family.

One of my bff's kinda had the same thing happen. She was only engaged a week when they found out. She now has a beautiful baby boy and the family is in LOVE! You may get some crap at the beginning but they will definitely come around. Goodluck!

Babies have a wonderful way of unifying people. I hope telling everyone goes well, but on the off chance it's not as good as you hoped, know that it will likely get better as the reality of a baby comes around to everyone! Good luck!
