I'm Back!!!! I missed you!!!

Hello, all!  I've missed you and my bump fix.  Our power went out Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. and didn't come back until last night around 9 pm.  Just got internet back about an hour ago.  Thankfully, the only damage we had was some shingles that came off the roof.  The beaches near us got hit really hard.  Lots in our area are still without power.

So much catching up to do!  Just wanted to say hi.  How did the rest of the hurricane bump ladies fare?  Hope everyone is safe and undamaged!

Here is my little Smurf from Halloween.  He got to go trick-or-treating with his cousins, so I actually ended up taking this picture after Halloween.  His pumpkin says "My 1st Halloween" ...it started to rot already, so it's not quite as pretty as when I initially carved it (and it wasn't dark enough to see the candle glow...oh, well).

We fared about the same as you- no power from Monday evening until late last night, but only a few missing shingles.

I'm glad you're back and that you were all safe. I cannot imagine going without power for that much time with a baby! But Ben is hardly a baby anymore, these guys are growing up too fast.

I had been wanted to ask you if he is walking now? (I know he took 5 steps, any more?)

He's not full-out walking yet, no.  He takes steps, normally 1-3 at a time and then he'll lower himself to the floor.  He's working on getting brave and keeping his balance.  He did manage to get up to six steps.  Now, if you give him his little walker toy, watch out!  He cruises around the house!!!  I need to take a video and share it here.  It's crazy.  He's going to be so fast once he figures out how to walk on his own!

So glad you have your power back and your house is only missing a few shingles. And I'm glad you chose a smurf costume for Ben ... he looks adorable!
