A friend of mines little girl (Reese 2yrs old) is at Childrens this am having an MRI. They found a tumor on her brain. They thought she had a uti monday and things just didn't get any better so they took her back in last night. They started doing tests when her eyes stopped tracking and they found the tumor. I just can not even imagine what they are feeling right now. Please pray for Reese and Amanda and Ej.
We are also trying to help them locate a back up lovey. So they can wash one/keep one with her at all times. I posted a picture on my fb page if anyone comes across one or has that blanket they want to sell. Thank guys.

Praying hard for sweet Reesey.
The lovey she has now is pink and brown right (and possibly another color too)? I have the blue version and we got it at Walmart.
Thanks guys. They did the MRI and have her scheduled for surgery at 7:30 in the morning. I think we will know more then as far as what they are dealing with. Someone found a lovey! So that will be sent there way today.
Keep the prayers coming. Brain surgery and two year old are words that should never have to go together. Hug your babies close. This stuff happens in the blink of an eye.
These days will be very scary for them. My friend's baby (named Reese also) was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the end of August last year. After a very invasive and intense brain surgery with a long and touchy recovery she endured months of harsh chemotherapy. But it was all worth it and today she is cancer free and beginning to start her recovery and make milestones like a normal baby although its difficult to tell just how affected she is by the treatments just yet. There are probably some dark days ahead but there is definitely hope. Mindy talked all the time about how dynamic the treatments were and how the doctors would go to conferences during Reese's treatment and come back with new and better plans. Please contact me if you would like to get my friend's email to pass to your friend. My friend is a doctor so she understood and explained many of the medical "stuffs" that was happening in highly technical and lay terms in her updates as Reese went through her treatment. Anyway, a comrade in arms might be just the lifeline your friends need, as well as the prayers of many. You can reach me by facebook or marthafwade at gmail. I will try to find Mindy's blog to pass along.
* latest update...
They are going in through the top of her head and scraping the tumor and removing some/most of the fluid from her brain. They can't remove it all or the smaller portion that is wrapping around her brain a bit because it is right on her optic nerve. So the prayer is when they do this tomorrow, it kills the tumor and it dies. I am not sure what would happen to it but, if this happens and it is not malignant then they may not have to open her back up to remove the back portion. Thank you guys so much for the prayers. Keep them coming. Sweet baby Reese we call the Honey Badger because she is so spunky. I know she is going to fight big and I know her parents are ready to fight too.
Here is my friend's blog...

Her tumor was malignant which required a year of treatment, but hopefully your friend's daughter will be one and done with this surgery if hers is not.
I pray the surgery is 100% successful and the recovery process is quick.

Everything went as well as possible today!
Per Amanda...
She's out!!! Neuro said she did wonderfully! Got as much of the tumor as she could and left a pathway that should drain amazingly now we just wait and watch her body do it's job by draining itself and watching her hormones bc it was so close to the pituitary gland.God is so good. Prayer warriors give yourself a high 5 for this round. MRI tomorrow morning to see how everything looks.
I recognize her as well. What was her bump name? Was she from the Atl board or one of the national boards?
