Just had my beta...

in 1st Trimester

It was 19.  Nurse said they like to see it be over 25.  I have to go in on  Friday and get another beta done to see if my numbers are going up.  She said at 19 it could go either way. Has anyone had a beta of 19 and had a successl pregnancy?

    How far along are you?  If you're 6w along, then yes, it's low.  If you're 4w, then it's not.  Besides, at this point, doubling and doubling time matters more than the actual number.

    Thank you ladies. I feel a little better but just really nervous and anxious. Waiting it AWFUL!

    Nurse also said my progestrone was great at 25 so im really praying this is my stcky baby!

    Just want to say hang in there! like the other posters said it is the doubling time that matters.

    I have had two betas done thus far and my doubling time is 83 hrs :/ and I have super low progesterone...12.3 Not looking that great for me.

    I go in again tomorrow. The waiting game totally sucks, but at least there are a lot of us going though it together right now!

    I had a 21 a few weeks ago. The doctor was preparing me for another miscarriage. But week after week the betas grew. I'm 7 weeks now with a little heartbeat :

    That number sounds fine for how early you are, Im surprised they told you it could go "either way".......  fingers crossed for doubling betas!

    BFP 5/21/10, Missed m/c 7/5/10 at 11w3d (baby measured 7wks), D&C 7/7/10

    Aug/Sept 2010 - CD3&10 b/w & u/s, genetic testing, SA, HSG, & Lap/Hyst to remove septum

    12/09/10 BFP -- 7/05/11 DS born at 33w5d. Came home after 23d in NICU at 37w0d

    June 2012 - TTC #2! -- 10/05/12 BFP --  5/23/13 DS2 born at 37w1d! Yay full term!

    Surprise BFP 6/25/14 LO#3 due Feb2015!

    Thank you. I keep reading that I am pretty early to have a high beta. I was 12dpo when I had my beta. I want to get excited but also trying to be prepared for the worst because they said it could go either way
