Posting Pics

As you can see from the Halloween post I can't figure out how to make my pictures little.  I know someone said they use tinypic so I went there.  I downloaded the pic to avatar size and copied the img file to the forum.  Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Well the avatar size is probably too small, webiste/email should be fine. Did you copy the whole code, including the [img] brackets in front and in back?

ETA I see the post you're talking about. I have no idea. I posted 3 pics once and made them all the same size and one wouldn't change. Maybe someone else can help
