How soon after dpo did you get a + test?

Hi ladies,

 I normally post over at TTGP but thought I would shoot this question to all of you since you are already pregnant.  How soon after dpo did you test +?  I'm 7 dpo tomorrow and thinking I'll wait until Friday at least.  Just wondering what other people's experiences were. And if you did get a + early, did you have any symptoms? Thanks~

I got a strong line at 13 dpo (and didn't even use FMU) but it was still 2 days before I expected my period.

I got a super, super faint line on a wondfo 9 DPO.  I'm still kind of ashamed that I tested that early, lol.

Got my BFP at 9DPO. Was going to wait until 11DPO, but I was a little drunk and couldn't wait any more, lol. It was afternoon pee and a pretty obvious line, so I think it may have even showed up at 8DPO. I have an 11 day LP.

I had some cramping starting at 8DPO. Most pregnancy symptoms require a good amount of hcg buildup; I didn't have sore tatas or nausea until after 6w.

I got a very, very and I mean VERY faint positive at 11dpo in the evening whereas that morning, it was stark white.  The next day (today), I had faint positives on four tests, but they were all there and a beta test confirmed it with a number of 14.

My symptoms have been evening queasiness/sickness for the past five days.  The only time I've ever been sick in the evening every night was during my last BFP last year, so that's why I began testing aggressively.  My breasts are also tender to the touch.  I wouldn't call them sore, but they're definitely more tender than pre-AF tenderness.

On Friday, you'll be about 10dpo, correct?  That's still really early and while you could test and yes, women have gotten positives at 10dpo before, don't get too discouraged if it's negative.  You just might have to wait a few more days.  Good luck to you!

I got a very faint line at 8DPO. At 9 and 10 days there was a definite darker line.

Thanks! I know it's so early still! I'm actually doing ok so far and not stressing about testing. Just wondering what other people's experiences were. I got my IUD taken out 1 month ago today and never got a period but +OPK so I know I ovulated.  Plus I had some cramping.  My birthday is Friday and we're getting married Sunday, so I figured, what a nice way to cap out the weekend but since we JUST started trying we are OK either way!

I started testing EARLY early with knockoff Wondfos at 9dpo. They looked negative until 13dpo, when they had the faintest of faint lines. I couldn't tell if it was an evap or an actual line, so hubby suggested FRER instead. When I tested with FRER immediately after the maybe-an-evap "Wanfu", there was a line nearly as dark as the control line! That's my cautionary tale of the internet cheapies being unreliable. If you're going to test early, don't waste your money on a million internet test strips. Go with the more reliable epts. There's actually a chart on fertilityfriend.com that tells you what percentage of pregnant women got positive results with different brands of tests on different days. It might only be for subscribers, but it's worth checking out if you just can't wait to know!

If you don't mind me asking, where was the cramping? I don't have any abdominal or period type cramps, but my groin is cramping. (The vagina-adjacent part, not the muscle.) It reminds me of AF unfortunately.

I guess it was kind of like period cramps; they're hard to describe. Not so all over; it felt more localized and not as intense. Just like a minor discomfort deep in my groin.

You're right, that makes no sense. I think I meant I don't have pelvic cramps - or are they uterine ones? Wow, I need to go back to anatomy class.

You can test when you'd like, but don't get discouraged if it's negative. I got a negative at 11DPO, but then at 13DPO, the day before my missed period i got a positive.

I got a negative at 12 and 13 DPO, figured I was crazy so I stopped peeing on sticks for a weekend then BFP 15 DPO - the day after I would have missed my period. I had only been off the Nuvaring for two months, though, so my cycles were still changing a bit each month.

I got my positive at 10 dpo, it was a dark line. My only symptom was crazy vivid dreams, which I honestly didn't know was a symptom. But starting about 4dpo I started having vivid dreams every night that I remembered really well in the morning, which was not normal for me. I mentioned it to my DH who said maybe its b/c we were on vacay and I was nervous in the house. We were at a friends cabin in the woods on a dead end street and I would freak myself out at night. Nope, they still happen nightly, crazy hormones! The night before I tested my dog plopped her head down on my boob and I screamed because it hurt, so I guess two symptoms.

I tested at 8 dpo and got nothing. 9 dpo and got a VERY faint positive with a FRER. I had betas drawn at 10 dpo and they were only 7, so the FRERs are very sensitive.

No symptoms that early.

Barely visible line at 12dpo. By barely visible, I mean, it seemed negative for the first 2-3 min, and then a hint of a line appeared that made me wonder if my eyes were playing tricks on me. The next morning 13dpo I tried again with FMU, and it was negative until about 1-2 min in, and a very very faint line appeared. It wasn't until the next day at 14dpo that I had a clearer line, but it was still a bit faint. 2 days after that at 16 DPO, I took another test and I finally had a clear, somewhat medium darkness line.  I think probably have a 11-12 day luteal phase so not sure if that made my results different

Same as me exactly. Line was a bit darker at 10 DPO. Got a + on a digi at 12 DPO and then, just for fun, I took one around 20 DPO and they were both super dark.
