My appointment for tomorrow has been rescheduled for NEXT Wednesday. A whole week away. I made it all the way to the day before and now it is changed.
Yeah not thrilled. I am actually quite p!ssed. It is barely raining here and the wind is barely moving the trees. It better get a lot worse. I wanna know that my baby is alive and well. Now I get to wait another week.

I hate to agree here ... But you said "It better get a lot worse," so I'm glad someone spoke up. I understand wanting to see your baby. I get that, I really do. But to be that irritated over your appointment being moved when the whole East Coast is under such a bad storm really rubs me the wrong way. And like a previous poster said, at least next week you'll be able to see more. But seriously, people have already been killed by this storm, so please try to remember the bigger picture here ... And thank your health-care providers for trying to keep you and your baby safe instead of flipping out for having to wait a little bit longer.
We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.
“So can you understand? Why I want a daughter while I’m still young? I wanna hold her hand and show her some beauty before all this damage is done. But if it’s too much to ask, it’s too much to ask … Then send me a son.” – Arcade Fire
I'm gonna have to agree with this. I totally get that it sucks to have your appointment cancelled...especially when it's your first appointment. But to wish that the storm gets worse is really insensitive. This storm is really scary and is already causing lots of damage before it's even peaked. People are losing their lives and homes. It's not just any old storm and I wish that it wouldn't get worse! That's just really insensitive to want it to get worse just to justify your appointment getting delayed.

ETA Oh WAIT I just saw who actually said that. Weird.
this.. I'm home in FL hoping my family still has homes in NJ and you hope it gets worse, have you watched the news? It's like a war zone on the east coast. We all understand the anxiety and wanting to see your LO, but think before you post...
