Devastated, Heartbroken, & Shocked (loss not mine)

My cousin on my father's side of the family was 25 weeks pregnant today and I just logged on to facebook to see where she is delivering her precious baby today. Her direct quote was "Today is going to be the hardest day of my life our baby girl will be born but she is already an angel in heaven" To say I am devastated, & Heartbroken is an understatement. I sit here at 20 weeks and this just adds to the worry for me now...I have only known one other person to suffer a late loss and I just can't bring myself to imagine what she is going through...I am so heartbroken for her and her family.  How do you ever stay calm and not worry...

Please keep my cousin and her family in your prayers....

    Elevated Alpha 2-glycoprotein IgA and antiphosphatidylserine IgM -->
    Hematologist said not to worry and no need for treatment!

    Dx: LPD
    Cycle #1(08/2012): Clomid 50 mg CD3-7, Ovidrel CD13 + Progesterone = It worked!
    BFP #5 on 09/10/12 (11 DPO). HCG #1 @ 14DPO = 131.6 HCG #2 @ 16DPO = 509

    Just heartbreaking. I'm so, so sorry to hear this.
    It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    My heart goes out to your cousin!!! Delivering a stillborn child is an inconceivably cruel and terrible experience. I pray that she is given all the support she needs, in whatever manner she needs. For me, I just needed an ear once I got home (and wine and cigarettes). My best friends and sister-in-laws spent the entire first week listening to me cry it out on the phone. Your cousin may just want to be alone - everyone is different. Be sure that she knows there is NO right or wrong way to grieve and NO time limit. That helped me - to be reminded that there were no expectations and nothing written in stone about how I was "allowed" to react. I pray that, in time, her heart can heal from this tragedy.

    Such unbelievably sad news.  I'm so sorry for your cousin's loss and the understandable extra worry this will now bring you.

    I'm so sorry to hear of your cousin's loss. So hard. Thinking of you. I had a cousin lose a full-term baby last spring and it def. hits close to home when you have been through loss.

    Many T&P's to your cousin and your entire family.  I know what she is experiencing all to well and you are correct that devastated, heartbreaken and shocked just do not do the feeling justice.  I know that it adds to your anxiety to hear about the loss, but try to remember that your's is a different pregnancy (I know...easier said than done).  (((HUGS)))
