My PSA on toothpaste for when your LOs are older.

Get your kid on regular toothpaste as soon as you can. Trying to wean my 9 year old off the kiddie toothpaste and it is HELL. I waited way too late.

    Something I most definitely have never thought about; thank you!

    I don't know if I ever used toothpaste made especially for kids... If I did, I don't remember it. Did they even make it 20 plus years ago? I'm wondering if we could just skip it altogether?

    I don't think they did. I remember the coolest toothpaste when I was a kid was the aqua fresh with the three colors.

    The kid tooth paste has flavors like bubblegum, watermelon etc.. Nasty!

    My super embarrassing confession is that I still use kid toothpaste. I'm a supertaster and I can't stand mint toothpaste.

    All the things we have to fight our kids on in the future.. lol. I can't believe they even put up a fight about toothpaste! Actually, I can believe it. We went and visited SD at the beginning of the month and forgot her Princess toothpaste and she flipped out. There was an all out tantrum, she never brushed her teeth the first night and cried herself to sleep. We went out and bought the damn princess toothpaste the next morning.
