Bottom line - is it ok to have sex at 27 weeks pregnant if my doctor hasn't mentioned not to? I hate to say "i want to" but let's be real - sex is an important part of marriage, and even though i feel like a fatty tub, i still have needs! unless a doc has mentioned that we shouldn't, is it ok? or does anyone have any info saying otherwise? thanks so much....
Re: Embarrassing question - sex talk
I think its ok as long as you haven't been put on pelvic rest. Just no crazy reverse upsidedown wheelbarrow action
We were put on pelvic rest at 16w due to a low lying placenta. At 21w we were taken off and given the green light (MH couldn't hide his grin when the doc told us that), and were just told to take it easy.

After 2 years, numerous tests, abdonimal surgery, and 2 IVF cycles, we are so grateful to be expecting.
Transferred 2 "perfect" 8-cell embies 6/12. Beta 1 6/25: 472! Beta 2 6/27: 1055!
First u/s shows TRIPLETS! WHAT?!?! Both embies stuck and one split. OMG
Levi, Henry, and Amelia were born healthy at 34w3d.
I would think unless you were explicitly told not to, that you're good to go...
DH and I haven't been b/c my PSD pain that has been excruciating, I can't imagine how painful it would be to even try but DH said if I make it to 36 weeks that he's going to be more than happy to help induce labor .
Even with the PSD, I haven't been told that I can't have sex so if I get to feeling up to it I doubt I'd think twice... it has been too long!
I agree. My dr never put restrictions on me so we were able to keep doing it till the end.
Lost our first little peanut on 1/17/2012 at 9 weeks and 5 days. We miss you little blessing, but we know you were too perfect for this world.
