I should have known that as soon as we came out on Facebook (today), that something would either go wrong or I'd think something was going wrong. All morning, I've been having these twinges that feel like they're coming from my cervix (but, I will fully admit it's hard to pinpoint exactly where things are coming from down there, and it very well could be gas or any number of things). I know it's not RLP, since I've felt that several times. It's not painful, but "twinge" is really the best way I can describe it, and it *feels* like it's coming from my cervix. I got all paranoid and decided to check my cervix (after washing my hands with antibacterial soap), and my cervix was so high I couldn't even reach it. It's usually easily reachable. I'm not worried about not being able to reach it - I fully expect things to shift around down there, but it didn't do much for my attempt at self diagnosis either. Anyone else get twinges like this and can pinpoint what they are? Bah... I hate PGAL brain.
Oh, and I'm 12w3d for anyone on mobile who can't see my siggy.

Lurking...
You may be having your first experiences with lightening crotch. I had it all the time with DS. My OB always told me it was just one of a million random unexplainable feelings with pregnant.
I know little twinges can be unsettling--but they're normal. Unless you're in actual pain, try not to stress. And leave the cervix-checking to your doctor.
