Pregnant after a Loss
Another TTCAL grad cautiously joining you....
Hi Ladies! I am every so cautiously peeking in here. On Sunday morning, I saw two dark, pink lines and was both thrilled and scared to death all at the same time. After the year we have had, we could really use something positive!
A little bit about our journey...we started trying the end of last year and were thrilled to have a BFP in January. In February, I had to go to the ER for excessive bleeding, and it was discovered that I had a complete m/c. We were heartbroken. Then, in June, I thought our luck turned around with another BFP. After multiple inconclusive u/s, it was determined that it was a blighted ovum, and I needed to have a D&C. That same week, my husband, who had been battling with health issues of his own, was diagnosed with MS (multiple scelerosis). On top of all that, our beloved cat died unexpectedly this year, too. We really haven't been able to catch a break. I went through some RPL testing over the last few months, and nothing turned up, so we were cleared to try again. I am thrilled with the outcome, but terrified of having another loss. For now, I am just happy to be pregnant and will hold on to that.
To the TTCAL ladies, I have been blessed by your strength and support. You helped me to get through when I was feeling at my lowest. You have been there to laugh with and to cry with. I truly don't know what I would have done without you all. You are such an amazing group of women, and I am going to do my best to stick around here and save you all the stickiest of seats. I love you!

We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

BFP #5 on 09/10/12 (11 DPO). HCG #1 @ 14DPO = 131.6 HCG #2 @ 16DPO = 509

Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation.
Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP! EDD: 6/7/14
