Im going to get one for my dd. Theres one of sale this weekend at
toys r us...Wondering if any good or not?? Its called
Imaginarium...Where did you purchase yours, are you happy with it...thx
After looking for a while and being shocked about how expensive they were I finally found one at Ikea for $20. Its awesome. One side is a white board and the other side is chalk. It has a spool for a roll of paper that you can feed through it and it has a tray on the front for supplies. Its just wooden and very basic but its big (lots of work space) and it fold up and can be hidden behind a couch or under a bed if needed. I LOVE it so much and think it was such a steal!
DD got the Crayola one from TRU as a gift, it was terrible. It was unstable and fell over on top of her. I took it back. (plus it was big and plastic and ugly with serious choking hazard mini-magnets)
We have the one from IKEA the PP mentioned. We've had it for almost 2 years and DD uses it daily (she's 4). I recommend it to everyone I know who needs an easel!
Mom to J (10), L (4), and baby #3 arriving in July of 2015
DD has the crayola easel and the Flip and Doodle Easel desk. Love them both. She draws so much that we kept them both, one for the playroom one for her bedroom. The crayola one does have very small magnets, but dd has never put things in her mouth so it wasn't an issue for us. If I had a dc that ate things, I would definetly take them and hide them somewhere.

We have one like this as well, I got it at Tuesday Morning, which is similar to a Home Goods or something like that. It was $20 and it is great. DD's getting it for Christmas with a bunch of craft supplies.
