WWYD?
DH is going to a big pro Magic tournament next month to sell most of his cards and such. So he will be gone for 3 days pretty much. Since I will be about 34-35 weeks pregnant, I decided to get my Mom to take Rosie for the weekend. I just know I will be too tired, uncomfortable, and I have no patients. So I was dreading being with Rosie alone for 3 days. My Mom offered to watch her instead. So, WTH do I do? I haven't had that much alone time in ages.
Re: If you had a kid and DH free weekend
You should do the following:
Movie
Pedicure/Mani
Haircut
Shopping
Bath
Read a book
Watch your favorite shows
Order take out favorite food
and do absolutely nothing!
Do you have any friends nearby? Maybe you can set up a lunch date or watch a movie either in theatre or at your house.

Sleep and massage.
I am so jealous.
I was really excited about being on my own for a big, but I miss my Beanie so much. I feel like I have a hole in my heart.
I am jealous.
I would stay home and do absolutely nothing besides screw around on the computer and sleep. I might watch a movie or tv show that DH would never approve of. I wouldn't have to clean because there would be no one making a mess.
Did I mention I am jealous.
All of this, plus a prenatal massage.
Sleep, sleep, sleep. Eat a hot meal. Sleep. Relish the silence. Sleep. Go to Target alone.
Did I mention sleep?

I think this is a good idea - I always feel energized and ready to go in the morning, so I would probably do a small project or some of the cleaning/organizing that's hard to do with DH/DD around in the mornings (after, of course, enjoying a relaxing breakfast/cup of coffee), and then do more fun and relaxing things in the afternoons like pps mention. A more night-owl-ish person might reverse that, and save some small projects for the evening when you're antsy. OH I would also REALLY REALLY REALLY enjoy reading some trashy magazines/browsing through catalogs while watching tv in the evening. This was my way to unwind pre-baby.
I would lay in bed all day and watch mindless TV. I haven't done that since DS was born.
I might leave the house to eat something delicious but bad for me.
I've been needing one of these weekends for a while now! I would totally curl up in my recliner with a good book, catch up on all the shows I have on the DVR that I never get a chance to watch, and sleep all I want. BLISS. Pure BLISS.
