Climber!

Ya Never Know

We just moved DD's play area to the basement, so there were only stairs going up, and we figured we had some time to get the gate up...... WRONG.... Just totally watched DD climb the first step. I was behind her because I wanted to see if she could do it. She amazes me!

Nat just started climbing, too! I'm kind of weird and encouraging it by letting her climb the stairs :::with supervision!::: because it's so funny! Plus the earlier she learns about stairs safety. Her play area isn't near the stairs luckily so I have a few months before we need a gate.

YES! Colt did this for the first time today too! Whaaat! I took pics, even though his footie pjs were only on his arms and were just hanging off his butt. haha

Love it!  Ben has only climbed once (onto a basket about the height of a stair.)  I am not looking forward to the climbing adventures that have him on top of a table or something.  Ugh!  Helmets and pads are totally normal every day wear for kids, right?

As of today I have a stair climber, too! We've had the gate for a while but have been lazy about making sure it is in place that has since changed!

J has yet to climb our stairs, although he did climb one stair at someone else's house once. Theirs are totally carpeted, and ours are wood with a carpet runner, so I think theirs looked less challenging or something. 

This morning, he pulled over a tall, thin laundry basket (empty), and then climbed up it using the holes.

We have to macguiver that gate too unfortunately, so looks like I'll be running after DD a lot this week!

I can't believe we have climbers! As a ftm, I seriously thought I had a lot more time!! Lol
