Rash From new Diaper

I ordered a BG 4.0 from Cotton Babies seconds sale and it seems to have given my DD a rash.  I preped it before putting it on her but when I went to change her she had an awful rash from it.  Any ideas?  I haven't put it on her again but I am planning on washing it several times before trying again.

    Do you have any other diapers with suedecloth as the inner? Some babies are sensitive to suedecloth.

    Ditto this. Suedecloth allergies can cause a pretty red rash everywhere that wet diaper touches the skin.

    I do.  I meant to include that in my original post.  We have a ton of other BG diapers and she's fine with all those.
