Tell me your thoughts on Fuzzibunz

We began with prefolds and switched to FB when DD grew out of her prefolds.  So far I haven't been a fan.  We have all OS because I got a great deal on them, but I hate the bulk.  They've been more difficult to wash, and she leaks around her legs often.  I know they're tight enough on her because she has marks on her legs and back from the elastic.  I'm considering trying to sell my stash and go back to prefolds.  I'm just wondering what other experiences are with FB.  I think I've seen complaints about leaks before, but that was before we started using them.  Opinions would be great.  I'm having a hard time biting the bullet on actually selling them.

Oh, and if I do sell them, what's a fair price?  They've been worn for a few months, always washed with Rockin Green detergent, only use cloth safe ointment, and hung to dry.

I haven't liked them really. I muchly prefer my Bum Genius dipes.

The fit on dd is awesome, and I love how trim they are, but I HATE stuffing them, and I can't imagine being able to stuff extra inserts in to increase absorbency. I only have one, and I certainly won't be buying more.

I only have one fb and a bunch of Charlie bananas but the fit pretty similarly. I hated them until just recently, now that dd is walking and slimmed down quite a bit they work a lot better because they are so narrow across the crotch. When she had her chunky monkey thighs I couldn't get them not to leak.

 I would say wait a little while unless you absolutely need to sell them to get something else.

I love our Elites. They make up half our stash. The customizable fit has been ideal for DD. No leaks once I sorted out the user errors. It's great how trim they are. They are definitely a day time diaper though. DD needs more absorbency for overnight.

All of this.  The only dipes I like better so far are my prefolds and covers.

I hated them.  No matter how I adjusted the elastics on the OS they leaked.  The sized leaked.  FB always leaked at the legs on DD, they just didn't work for her.  I sold them off.

These are my absolute favorite diaper. We have 16 of them and they make up the bulk of our stash. I love them because they're the only diaper that fits my super skinny LO, and we've never had a leak. I find them easy to stuff, but probably because I have small hands. and they're actually the trimmest diaper we own! 

Most FB's sell on the swap for anywhere from $12-$16. Some people sell them for a little more if they're new in package and have both inserts and elastic. If they're pilly they sell for a little cheaper than if they're not.

Good to know! I currently use a Kawaii snaps diaper stuffed with three MF inserts to get DD through the night. Not a fan of the way MF holds odours, so I'll definitely look into bamboo.

This! I have FB Elites and BG 4.0 and I prefer my FB. I always double stuff my FB and very rarely have leaks. My BG's leak out the legs 50% of the time. My LO has chunky thighs but a narrow waist so the separate adjustments work well for us.

FWIW most of our CD friends love their BG when they are younger and FB more when they get older and more mobile.

I loved our FB OS and OS Elites until DS was about 4-5 months old.  After that I just couldn't get them adjusted so that we didn't have leaks.  Even changing every 2 hours or less I had leaks almost every single time.  I stripped them, adjusted the elastic, added extra inserts, and basically did whatever I could think of to fix the problem but I just couldn't stop the leaks.  I had about 20 of them which was a huge chunk of our stash.  I put half up for sale at my local CD store's consignment weekend ($12 each and sold all but 1) and put the rest of them away for theoretical baby number 2.  I used the money from the sale to add more tots bots easy fits, BG, and blueberry pockets.

we love them... pretty much our whole stash... my dh can stuff them just find and he has chubby fingers... DD has chubby thighs and skinny waste and they work great! We double stuff over night and it works out great for us. I think the narrow fit will work great when dd is older and moving... plus daycare loves them because they work so well they just change her like everyone else... that includes the use of cloth wipes
