If your baby has teeth, did you ever notice what looks like white sores where they were about to pop through? I never noticed this on DS1, didn't notice this on DS2's first two teeth, but he has 2-3 roundish, whitish, sore-like things where his top teeth would probably come in. It is not the tooth itself.
Too be honest, they look like they are set back a little further than where his teeth would pop through, and I suspect it is something different, but I was hoping that some of you ladies would tell me it was teething related. Otherwise, I guess it is a call to the pedi. He just had 9 month shots and the flu shot yesterday, I think he is getting teeth, he didn't sleep more than 2 hours at a time last night, and hasn't napped today. It is a rough way to end the week.
Re: Babies with teeth
Grant had a white spot on his gums where his incisors would pop through. I thought it was weird he would get that tooth first, but I was convinced that was what it was. Well, he still doesn't have any teeth and the white spot disappeared. He had it for a few weeks before it went away.
If it doesn't look bad, and he seems okay - I wouldn't worry.
