Ive been wondering about this for a while-- Did your kids keep to the personalities they had shown as babies? For ex, if they were stubborn, or easygoing, or esp close to one particular parent, etc. did they stay that way as they got older?

I was just curious TIA!

DD is only 3 so I guess things could still change, but in general -- YES!  It is amazing how early a lot of her personality started to come through.  She is stubborn (I like to say persistent), very verbal, needs a lot of physical touch, very sensitive, and very loving.  She is definitely a Mama's girl (and will even say so herself now), and always has been.

Yes!!  DS was talkative, stubborn, energetic and needed attention 24/7 as a baby and he is still the same way.  He also has always favored me, but I stay home so it may be more of a "who is always around" thing.

Although I will say as a baby he LOVED my dad and now they do not get along as well.  Their personalities just don't mix as well as DS is getting older.

For me, yes so far.  Cedric is only 3, but he was a very easy going baby and an easygoing preschooler as well.  If it keeps true for Cordelia...I am in trouble!  LOL.

My older two were both easy going and good babies. My daughter started to get stubborn like the day after her first birthday. Was the very tantrum prone toddler. She is still pretty headstrong. But she is VERY smart.

Yes! Ryan has always been super sweet, stubborn and curious. He has never been a snuggler but loves to give high fives! He thinks everything is funny and always has!

My 2 older ones are 6 and 8 now. They have kept their personalities. 6 year old has always been laid back and happy. The 8 year old has been nothing but high maintenance since he was born, keep holding out hope it changes but no luck so far

For sure once they got to be toddlers. Ds1 is and was very adventerous and independent. At 2 yrs old he jumped off the back of a boat in the middle of the ocean.. He'd go to anyone as a baby. He never had stranger anxiety. He still doesn't know a stanger. He got a job at the YMCA while in line at a restraraunt. He just talked up a woman who happened to be the director.
Ds2 is more cautious. As a baby we didn't have to childproof anything. But now he's fearful of new situations.Kindergarden has been a struggle. But I'd say those same personality traits still ring true for them.
