how do you know how many ounces dc is eatting in a feeding??? I am going to me leaving dd tomorrow night for a few hours how much milk do i leave?? she is 3 mon old... tia!!

estimate 1oz/hour and then I usually left a couple extra.

I don't.  He hates bottles & takes bare minimum to survive at daycare, then attacks me when I get home.

I'd leave about 5-6oz just in case - both of mine tended to nurse/eat more in the evenings.

DD was nursing every 2.5-3 hours at that age, and her bottles were 4oz.

My girls have always hated bottles, but they took enough to survive (and not much more).  They were tiny so they didn't eat as much - probably 3-4 oz every 2-3 hours at 3 months.  DD#2 still doesn't take much more than 4 oz (maybe 5) every 3-4 (sometimes 5) hours now if I'm gone.  She's also on a lot of table food so I think she uses that to fill up when I'm gone.  Leave two bottles of 3-4 oz if you have them and then if she doesn't eat the two, you can freeze the other one for another day.
