Aww, thanks! My sister just sent me those pics - they're at my mom's house today hanging out with her, my sister, and my nephew. It's the first time their hair has been in a ponytail.

Their hair gets thicker by the day, but it still hasn't gotten any longer in the back. It gets longer by the front so it hangs in their eyes a little now, but won't actually grow out. If their hair stays the same texture and thickness they will have awesome hair when they get older. I'm jealous!

For real. Sophie doesn't even have enough hair to brush.
I've seen a baby or two on here with hair in pigtails or ponytails and I've been jealous. When I get home I'm going to play and see if we can do pigtails.

Super cute! I even switched from the mobile site to see I can't wait til Lucia's hair is longer! We got the barette in my siggie to stay in only as long as it took to take the picture!
N and O are so beautiful! They are totally rocking those ponytails! What kind of rubberband did your sister use? I think D's hair is long enough, but I need to buy appropriate hair ties, because the only kind that I have are for my long thick hair.
Molly, barrettes don't really stay in their hair either because their hair is really fine. And they yank them out really quickly. I'm wondering how they're handling the ponytail because Olivia especially likes to play with her hair as she's drinking her bottle. Have you tried the little claw clip things? I have no idea what they're called, but they stay in a little better.

I don't know what you mean, but I think I'll head to Target this weekend and see what I can find! I know it's still too short and fine, but I am hopeful over the next month or two that it won't be!
I am jealous of the babies with lots of hair too! Nothing stays in Olivia's hair but I am not a big bow girl anyway. We got her a felt headband from Target that she tolerates but since we never really dolled her up it does not seem like her.

I won't send them to daycare with them. They're really small and easy to pull out, and their goal these days seems to be to get anything and everything into their mouths. My mom put these in their hair last week and she said she turned her back for 2 seconds and Natalia had taken hers out and was putting it in her mouth. I doubt they would actually try to swallow them since they're much bigger then food that seems to stimulate their gag reflex, but I still worry.

SrhA1984...I think Ava wins the prize for the most hair. I'm jealous of all you ladies getting to do "girl" hair! That may be one of the only reasons I wanted a girl...to do her hair. I'm still kind of hoping Ian's turns more like mine...curly! It has started to curl a little in the back. I just think a blonde, curly headed, little boy would be cute. Somebody put a big giant bow in their LOs hair, for me!
