It's a GIRL!  So excited to be joining team pink!  :o)   I was incredibly surprised because I had really convinced myself that LO was a boy and everyone else seemed to agree.  I couldn't be happier though!  Our baby girl is currently 12 ounces and everything appears to be in perfect order.

    He was definitely hoping for a boy...ya know...gotta have someone to teach lacrosse to!  But he is thrilled that baby appears to be perfectly healthy.

    Congrats!  I can say for certain, that even if YH was hoping for a boy, the little girl will have him wrapped around her little baby girl pinky in no time.  :-)

    Congratulations!  I agree with PP that your daughter will have your husband wrapped around her teeny-tiny finger in no time.

    DH can still teach her lacrosse!  You just might have to be ready to restrain him on the sideline if someone "accidentially" checks his baby too hard!

    Girls play lacrosse too! The day we found out Bailey was a girl, I photoshopped lacrosse stick into the sonogram picture and send it to DH :) You just wait...she'll be wrapped around his finger in no time. Congrats!!

    Welcome to Team Pink!

    And I agree with the PPs. DH was estactic that our LO was/is a girl. As soon as she made her appearance I could see him melt!

    I keep telling him all of this and I know that you're all right!  And Sarah...Amanda definitely comes to mind!  Love it!

    Congrats!!! I think this is the year of girls... I have 7 girlfriends prego and out of the 8, only two of us are having boys! Stick out tongue I was a huge tomboy growing up and played everything there was to play... so your DH can still have his way! Smile
