Love the video of Grey doing the states puzzle!  Is it a Melissa & Doug puzzle?  I'd like to get one for Nick soon.

It actually isn't. This is the map that we have. We got it at a toy store in Sunvalley mall. The melissa and doug puzzle would work fine though.

The important part is that the states are the pieces...as opposed to some state puzzles that I have seen that just have random pieces cut out...so one piece might have part of arizona and part of new mexico on it. So you want one that has all the states cut out. The smaller states in the North East are stuck together though...

Great - thanks!  I'd seen one at BRU or Target or something that had the exact problem you mentioned.  The pieces looked like they'd just be stamp-cut and weren't true to the shapes of the states.  I didn't like it and when I saw Grey with his, it seemed much better.

I have the same puzzle Kelly has and we got it at Target.  It was a year ago but perhaps they still have it.
