Tell me I am crazy and grasping at straws...

We are TTC #2 and yesterday AF showed up.  Today my temp is still up and AF seems to be essentially gone.  But 1 full day of AF is more than 'spotting', right?

Please don't laugh, my desire to be PG can clearly stop me from being rational....

Re: Tell me I am crazy and grasping at straws...

  • I guess the only way to really know is to take a test, right? Good Luck whether it be now or next month!

  • Sorry, yes, I guess that is the rational thing to do!

I am traveling for work, so I am at a hotel (miles from my stash of tests).

  • There is always hope. Have you taken a test?
  • Eh, I tend to think that periods are pretty strong evidence against and that the very few stories of people being pg with a continuing period are super rare but serve to convince all of us crazies that want to be pg and grasp.

That said, if it's gone already, it's not normal so you never know. Go ahead and POAS tomorrow if the temp is still up. With the temp being up but a full-on period for a day, I would think that a very early miscarriage of the "most women never knew they were pg" variety might be possible?

    GL, stranger things have happened!

I tested on Wed (8 DPO, again irrational) and got a BFN.

  • You are crazy and grasping at straws.

    Just kidding!  Go POAS!

  • I had a regular period and a few day period the next month when I was pregnant.  When I finally got a BFP (after repeated BFNs), I thought I was 4-5 weeks pregnant and I was almost 9.  I felt likeshit that entire time though.  It can happen!
