Update re: is anyone else's stomach hard?

A while back I asked this question and found out I was the only one. Finally got to the doctorturns out I have an abdominal hernia. My gyne referred me to a gerneral surgeon. It's not a question of if I need surgery but when...they might wait until after I'm done with all of my future pregnancies so they dot have to redo it. In the meantime, I have to find another way to work out that isn't affecting my stomach. So walking it is. Just really hard to feel pretty again when I want to be working on my body and can't. Oh and to top it off the office manager here got all pissy when I took a different chair from an unused office for my desk since the other chair had no back support and my back was killing me because I don't have the core to sit straight up all day. Now I have to provide documentation to keep the chair. That's just cray! It's a dang chair!! Sigh! Ok, vent over.

Ugh, I'm sorry for you! My aunt had the same thing after she had her daughter and didn't get surgery for a few years just because she kept putting it off. I guess it's not really an urgent issue, right?

And I can't believe your manager about the dang chair!! How inconsiderate that they won't just believe you.

ugh that sucks...at least you know what is going on finally. my cousin had the same thing, went on to have 2 more kids over the next six years and just has it repaired about 6 months ago.

Thanks ladies! Here's hoping I can put it off until all of my pregnancies are doneDH and I will TTC in April...we want at least one, maybe two more LOs. I have my surgeon appointment on Mondayfingers crossed!!
