Yikes!!

I'm starting to come down with a cold and it's making me very worried. I know that you shouldn't take any meds unless deamed okay by your doc, but i still don't want to take any chances. After all this is my 1st and I want to make sure that I do everything right(that I can control.) Do any of you have any ideas to deal with a cold on top of morning sickness!?!?!

    My thoughts would be hot tea with honey, hot steamy soup, put your head over a bowl of hot steamy water with a towel over your head to trap in the steam. I have heard of garggling salt water. Those are things I would do. Feel better!

    I had a horrible cold/cough that started the day I got my BFP (3.5 weeks ago) and just started to go away this weekend.  And have had morning sickness for the last week and a half on top of that.  I sucked on hard candy, used a humidifier, got an inhaler from the doctor, slept propped up on several pillows, and sat in the steamy bathroom as often as I could.  Hope you feel better soon!
