Where to go for drinks in the city???

We are heading into SF tomorrow night for dinner at Perbacco and are meeting friends for drinks before.  It's been a long time since this momma's been out for drinks downtown!! Where's a good spot?? The restaurant is at California and Battery.

 Thanks!

  • Come to my house! Heehee. (hopefully we'll see each other again soon!)

You're going to love Perbacco! DH took me there for dinner when I was pg. It was awesome.

Sadly, I'm no help for where to go for drinks as it's been a long time for me too. :-)

    The Bubble Lounge perhaps?

  • How about the Royal Exchange on Front & Sacramento?
  • Ooooo - la - la!!!  Perbaco will be GREAT!!  Maybe start with drinks at...Aqua??  Its near by.  The Bubble Lounge... has AMAZING atmosphere... is a short walk.  There's also a wine bar in the Embarcaderos... cute... small... over priced in my opinion... but nice.  https://www.winebarsf.com/

  • I LOVE Perbacco - it's one of my city favorites.  If you like veal, the veal pasta is rich, but sinful.  Also, the caramel gelato with sea salt.  Mmm mmm.  Oh, and their homemade burrata cheese.  They have a really good gin and grapefruit cocktail too.

What about drinks at Americano in the Hotel Vitale?  I am not sure how crowded it gets.

Also, it's been ages, but the Equinox at the Hyatt right there where California ends.  It rotates 360 degrees, but they were remodeling it for a while.

  • Perbacco is right across the street from my office.

I love Americano's...right on the water with a gorgeous view of the bay bridge. a little swanky but you can definitely go there dressed casual. They have an outdoor area with plush couches and heating lamps.

Or if you want something right around the corner from Perbacco there is a Wine bar on Front Street in Embarcadero 2 (i think it is 2).  just walk up front st and you will run into it when you get to the embarcadero bldg. It is right next to l'occitane (spell?)

  • I have no suggestions, but I will be in the City tomorrow night too!  Birthday dinner at Fisherman's Wharf for a friend.
