Anne-Marie Vaduva is a NYC naturalist, previously a Central Park Conservancy woodlands gardener, NYC Park Ranger, environmental educator, and zoo keeper. Growing up in Romania, forests and rivers were her playground. As a college student at the Biosphere 2 in Arizona she learned that nature was victim to greed and she worried. Today, as a naturalist with years of experience interpreting and exploring nature in NYC with thousands of adults and students she understands that people are nature. We are not separate. To appreciate and protect the beauty and abundance of life on this planet is to respect and love ourselves. Through her work with Pono and NYC Nature, a local eco-tourism company, Anne-Marie raises awareness about the joy and beauty of New York City wilderness and empowers New Yorkers to discover themselves through nature exploration.

Tom Goodridge, also known as Green Man, is an educator and performer who visits schools, gardens, and seasonal celebrations. He is a special education teacher with a Master's in Education, and has conducted doctoral research on nature's influence on child development. Among others, Green Man has collaborated with the New York Consort of Viols, a shakuhachi flute master, drummers, and children playing homemade instruments. He can be seen on the streets of NYC with his praying mantis puppet companion in search of greener places.
