I want to get LO some shoes for the winter but the ones we were given as a gift from Target and places like that are IMPOSSIBLE to get on. I want something easy to put on and stay on. Any suggestions?

From dealing with my child, if they are easy to put on they are easy for her to take off. I caught her with a shoe in her mouth yesterday.

Robeez are a cinch to get on and DS cannot kick them off. They have elastic around the back of the foot that holds them on nicely.

This and I just learned they are made by Stride Rite

I did pick Kevin up a pair of these shoes, similar to robeez. They are great as well.

I'm just trying to make DD some shoes. I've got the elastic part down for the heel, so she won't be able to kick them off. My pattern still needs tweaking though. I'm so cheap, I just can't spend the money on shoes if I'm not sure she'll wear them and I know they won't fit for very long.

Wish I could make DD shoes! But, for OP, I have a pair of Puma's for her that seem to stay on her feet the best of all the little shoes we have. This pair is soft sole and just seems to fit her perfectly. They're probably a little pricey, though, I'm not sure, I got mine second hand. I will say I have an adorable pair of Uggs for her that are so hard to get on but really easy for her to get off! So that kind of sucks.
