What in the world is that little white box with a head in it that people will put in the comment section of something you post? I can't figure out what the crap it is or what it means and I see it all the time...

    They are emoticons but I think you can only download them on iPhone so if you don't have one you will only see the boxes.

    I know what emoticons are and I have an iphone, I just can't figure out what this particular one is? It almost looks like an alien in the box...

    Have you updated your phone to iOS6? I haven't updated from iOS5 yet and I have that little box showing up because I don't have the new update yet.

    I see a purple devil looking thing with an evil grin...
    Also, I haven't updated my phone yet, either. I've heard there are major bugs with ios6. But I have an app called Emoji, which I use for emoticons. I don't know if that affects my ability to see emoticons, but that's my only thought about a possible fix.
