  • I know!  I've been super busy with subbing.  I subbed for ag. yesterday, all day.  I didn't get to reply to your email, but I feel so bad for you!  (I don't know if that's the right wording "feel bad FOR you").  Is your day going better today?

It is going better today. ?Wes and I have been at each other's throats yesterday and this morning. ? ? Not good. ?It is the holidays.

    ?

His mom texted me last night (not him) and gave us the guilt trip about Thanksgiving. ? Grrr! ? I think I may just have to say "Okay, we pick ONE house and start rotating it." ? ?

  • I did get to teach some.  Most of the time, we were out in the shop.  I taught one girl how to weld (go me!) and got to watch the small engines class get all three of their motors running after months of no results.  It was awesome to see kids get so fired up about learning.  I have to say, though, I was really disappointed in one girl.  She was the only girl in the class and we were welding (different class/girl than the one I taught).  She followed her boyfriend around and just watched him.  She made a comment about being the only girl in the class, and I told her, "Welcome to the world of agriculture!"  I feel like I expect girls to at least keep up with the guys in the ag. classes, if not exceed them.  It was hard for me to see a girl just piddle around and play footsie with a guy when I was so serious about ag. and proving that I could do just as well as the guys or better.  *stepping off my soapbox*  I also got to really teach the 8th grade class, so that was nice.  Lunch was the same time as Mr. Hottie, again, so I got to peek at him.

Let's just say I LOATHE the holidays.  How sad is that?  We have to see the IL's too much and it's all a power struggle.  MIL sent DH a text-message the other night that said, "Call me when you can talk."  I'm sure that meant, "When you are away from your wife."  FIL has been harassing us a lot lately, too.  Thank goodness DH is avoiding that whole situation--for now.  It always comes back around.
