Tender Spots

Hey everyone,

I have been having some weird pains where I would think my left overy would be. It's not really like the RLP's that I have experienced and also read a lot about, it's more a throbbing occasionally from that location. I had the same pain around 12 weeks and it was especially noticeable when the U/S tech rolled the sonogram thing over that spot- very tender.

I'm not even sure if my ovaries are still in that location with everything moving...but it's located below my belly button and above my hip...a little lower than the diagonal between the two points.

Any insight or similar experiences?

RLP and muscle pain would be my guess. Both can be in the area you describe. Can't see how far along you are on my phone, but I gather you're at least second tri. Things grow so rapidly from then on that sometimes the muscles and ligaments struggle...plus the ab muscles need to let the ute thru. Have you tried sleeping with a pillow under your bump? That lessened the strain on the tummy muscles for me.
