Tips on how to clean PNP...

Mother &$#%ing cats, one of them peed in the PNP, and I have no idea what to use to clean it! I need some heavy duty stuff, usually when they pee in something that's not able to be ran through the washer they just pee in it again. I'm tempted just to throw it out...

Re: Tips on how to clean PNP...

  • I emailed graco and they said to use dish detergent. The netting was dirty on mine. So I filled 2 buckets with water. One with hot soapy water. The other with clean. I'd just press the soapy cloth to the netting. The other parts I scrubbed with the towel. If cat pee got in the mattress part I'd be tempted to throw it out.

  • I don't know if it would be the same with cats but my brother and SIL would clean anywhere their dog peed with vinegar and that was supposed to keep the dog from using the same spot.  I have no idea if that helps but good luck!

  • Thanks ladies! I did a little bit of internet searching too, turns out standard cleaners can get the stain out, and human noses won't smell it anymore, but unless you use an odor remover specific for cat urine they can still smell it. And unfortunately I know from experience that if my cat can smell it he will pee in the same spot again. I had some totes from thirty one that I had to throw away because he kept peeing in them. Ugh...
