pregnant after 4 chemical pregnancies....terrified....

Hi All, 

 

I am  not new here, I am more of a lurker who finally felt the need to come out of hiding. I am now pregnant for the fifth time in a little over a year. Yes, all ended in chemical pregnancies around 35-40 days so that's 5-6 weeks. It's tiring and terrifying and I don't know how I am suppose to feel. I got my first beta back on Tuesday at what we think was 15 dpo and it was 60. Not great but better than some of the others. I am currently waiting for my beta to come back from this morning which would be 17 dpo. If you look at the betainfo website, I have somewhere around a 23% chance of getting to the heartbeat. I just want to know!!!!! If its going to end, then FINE but just tell me. How does anyone do this?

    Really sorry for your losses, and yes, the waiting is the worst. I hope you get great news, and that this is "the one".

    The waiting is awful, but the doubling is what's important.  I hope that this is your rainbow baby and that you're be hanging out here for the next nine months.

    It is a test of strength and patience. You are in my t&ps and I hope you get great doubling numbers!
    Me: 37 DH: 40 TTC since 9/09
    #1 BFP 1/10/11; missed m/c discovered 7w5d
    IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
    #1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN
    #1 IVF/ICSI 4/2/12 = 2 x 7-cell and 1 x 5-cell transferred (3dt) = BFP!!
    H was born at 41w2d on 12/29/12 - be still my heart!
    #2 IVF/ICSI 1/19/14 = 2 x 8 cells transferred (3dt) = BFP!! EDD 10/09/14
    M&W born at 37 weeks on 9/18/14 - I am the momma of 3 boys!!!

    So, wanted to post an update to this. Apparently my first hcg was 460, not 60. Which is great unless you look at todays hcg which was only 755. It was suppose to double or as the doc said he likes to see 66% increases which he didn't see (we only got 64%). So now its another blood draw saturday morning and I wait until Monday AM to find out the results. This is SO frustrating. There is nothing I can do. I am so mad. Thanks for listening.

    The waiting is so hard and I am so sorry for your losses. But congratulations on your BFP! I hope you have good results!!!
