A stupid customer at work gave me his cold. He waited for me to ring him up, and then started talking about how he was sick, and everyone around him was sick and I probably shouldn't touch anything he had. I washed my hands immediately after and used hand sanitizer, but ugh. Thanks for getting the pregnant lady sick, dude!
What can I take that will actually work?
Re: Cold medicine while pregnant
That kinda shiz pisses me off. I'm so sorry. Congrats on being KTFU!
I was told to go to the pharmacy of any drug store and ask for stuff for preg chicks. You have to sign a waiver. I honestly can't remember what the name was, I am sorry!
I also found the Neti Pot to be amazing. I had Rhinitis of Pregnancy, and it really helped me. GL!
Dude. I LOVE the neti pot. Seriously, someone would think I bought stock in the company for how many people I've got hooked on it.
Anything tylenol or acetomenophin (?) based on pain killers, nothing with aspirin or ibuprofen.
You can also ask the pharmacist on duty, its part of their job, even on otc stuff.

This. I had the worst cold of my life while pregnant. My OB said this was ok.
