CPW: Family Dinners?

I picked SS. We honestly do TRY to eat dinner at the table together, but some nights it just doesn't work out that way. Sometimes we end up feeding DD her dinner and then we have our own once she's tucked-in for the night.

I really do value sit-down family dinners, as that's how my siblings and I were raised. Hopefully as she gets older this will get a little easier.

I put SS because it varies depending on DH's work schedule. When he gets off work by 5 pm, we all eat together at the table. When he gets off at 6 pm, I usually feed DD first and then I wait until DH gets home and we have dinner together at the table while DD is wandering around and stopping by for snacks.

All depends on DH schedule... and when I get hungry.  Sometimes DD and I eat together, sometimes all 3 of us eat together and sometimes DD eats and I wait to eat with DH.

We try to eat as a family at the table every night. Some nights MH gets held up at work or has an emergency so then I eat with C and MH just eats when he gets home.

Zoe goes to bed at 6:30pm. We've tried to keep her up later but it is a mess. I'd love to eat as a family, but she has to eat way too early for the rest of us.

This is what we do. I'm hoping her bedtime gets pushed back soon so we can all eat together. Or maybe we can start eating earlier.

I clicked that we eat as a family, but that is only 4 night a week. The other nights, we eat all different because DH works.

DS is ready to eat right when I get home from work. It's much easier (and he is happier) if we don't make him wait to eat until I can cook. DH and I are in the kitchen with him while he eats, and he's in the living room playing while we eat.

We have a lot of years to sit down together at the table and have a family meal. It doesn't bother me that it doesn't work right now.

We eat together.  Sometimes Vito needs an appetizer to hold him over and keep him quiet until dinner is ready, but then we all sit down and eat.

We usually feed the girls, and then an hour or so later DH and I eat.  We usually put the girls in thier boosters at the table and let them have bites of your dinner.

They like sitting with us, we just don't have our stuff together to eat when they eat and they need to be on lock down in thier high chairs.

DH has varying schedules so on days he is home by 6pm, yes. Otherwise sometimes it's just me and Liv and DH doesn't get home until 9:30pm.

We always eat together, but not at the table. If it's just us, DH & I will eat at the bar with the twins right there as that's where we keep their high chairs. If we have more family over, then we eat at the dining room table, but it's in a carpeted area so I try not to eat there too much for now.
