  • Every time ... And sometimes I go just to make sure my mind is playing tricks on me. Nothing so far, yet I'm convinced that every time I go I'll see red. A PGAL mind is hard to deal with.

We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

  • I check every single time, although now I am to the point where I am kinda hoping to see a little pink.

  • Yes, all pg, every pg.  Even before my loss.  And my loss never involved blood, it was a missed M/C with D&C so I never spotted or bled with any pg, but I am obsessive about checking.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.
  • I check every time too, but since my first loss i basically never stopped.  I havent had any spotting or bleeding with this pregnancy so im not really sure if im checking for it or just out of habit....

  • Every time. Just when I thought I would stop, my MW tells me one drop of blood and I'll be on bedrest, due to the accessory lobe on my placenta. So now I'm obsessively checking again.

    Every. Single. Time.

Also, after my loss and before this pregnancy, I was still checking.  Old habits die hard.  I think I'll be checking my TP for the rest of my life.

     This exactly!

  • Every single time. Even when I don't have to go to pee I check because I "felt" something trickle out.
  • Every time.  And I pee a zillion times a day, so that's a zillion mini-heart attacks and anxiety attacks per day.  It's really wonderful.

Now I've taken to looking at the toilet water after I pee before I get up to wipe.  Looking for red water, and/or clots.

    I wish I weren't this way...

  • Every single time.

Even though with my 2 losses I never saw blood/spotting. I still check like a mad woman.

Now at 37w, I think I am just checking for other reasons.

  • In first tri and into second tri, I checked every single time. Even times where I felt wet, I would run to the bathroom just to check.

Now I don't really bother to check anymore. Now it's more about freaking out when there's slow movement.

  • Every. Single. Time.

Sometimes I just go to the bathroom and pull down my panties to check for any blood there. I imagine this won't stop until the end when I start looking for my mucus plug.

  • I said occasionally, but I was obsessive about it for all of my first trimester and the majority of my second. I'd say I still do it once a day or so.

  • Every single time. And with the accidental freakouts -- my in-laws use 1-ply toilet paper, and you can totally see through it when it's wet -- I saw my finger through it and thought it was a BIG pink spot and almost died on the spot. Sigh.

  • Don't you check the applicator every time you do it??? THAT is my BIGGEST FEAR. But wiping, yes, every time.
